Not every opportunity is worth accepting.

Not every relationship is worth keeping.

And not every desire is worth pursuing.

Moses understood this when he said:

If Your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here. — Exodus 33:15

So before you chase the opportunity, ask:

Will this bring me closer to God or further from Him?

Before you enter the relationship, ask:

Will this strengthen my walk with Jesus or weaken it?

Before you say yes, ask:

Can I pursue this and still honor God?

Because sometimes God isn’t asking you to choose between something good and something bad.

He’s asking you to choose between something temporary and His presence.

And when the choice is God or anything else,

choose God.
