A Community of Believers

Pinnacle Church is located in a golf community on the shores of Cedar Creek Lake, about 75 miles SE of Dallas, TX.

Pinnacle Church was formed and began services on Easter Sunday in April, 2010. We have chosen to identify ourselves as a “Community of Believers” because we have come from every tradition in the Christian spectrum and from no-faith-at-all to our present walk. We believe that faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior, alone, allows us to have relationship with God. With that one truth as absolute, we are prepared to discuss, but not divide over other traditions within the faith. We believe that there is far more to include believers in the Kingdom than to divide us.

Our pastor, Duane Miller, has been associated with Pinnacle Church since a few months after its inception. He came to the full-time pastorate in 2015, He and his wife, Joylene, have been married for almost half-a-century, and have shared ministry together in a variety of settings both in the United States and abroad.

Duane has been involved in media for many years having hosted an afternoon drive-time talk show in Houston among other venues. He lost his voice to a virus in 1990 and had a unique encounter with God in 1993. The story is told in his book, “Speechless”.
