Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude! Thank you to our parish family for your prayers, encouragement, and support as six of our teens and three chaperones attended the Steubenville Youth Conference at Benedictine University last weekend. The theme, “Worthy,” reminded us that each person is infinitely loved and cherished by God.
Throughout the weekend, we encountered Christ in powerful ways through joyful praise and worship, dance, inspiring speakers, the Sacraments, and reverent adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. We witnessed the Holy Spirit moving in the hearts of our teens, calling them closer to Jesus and reminding them that they are never alone. It was a beautiful experience of faith, community, and renewal that touched every one of us. We returned home encouraged, inspired, and, honestly, still on a spiritual high from all that God did during those three days.
Please continue to pray for our youth, that they will remain rooted in Christ, be courageous in living their faith, and allow the seeds planted during this weekend to continue growing and bearing abundant fruit. We are deeply grateful to our parish for believing in and investing in the faith of our young people. Your prayers and generosity truly make a difference.
