Today we celebrate one of the greatest mysteries of our faith, the Holy Trinity. One God in three Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. One divine unity, perfectly bound in love.

The Father creates, the Son redeems, and the Holy Spirit sanctifies—and together they reveal that God is not solitude, but relationship.

On this beautiful feast, we remember that we are made in the image of this divine communion. Just as the Trinity is one, we are called to live in unity, love, and faith with one another.

Happy Friday!

Did you know that priests are required to pray the Liturgy of the Hours every single day, even outside of Mass?

Also called the Divine Office, this is a structured set of prayers prayed at different times throughout the day, centered on the Psalms and Scripture. Most may not know that the Church is actually praying continuously around the world (every hour of every day) through clergy, religious, and laypeople who take part in these prayers.

NOTE: Rosary Service at 8AM at Sacred Heart Cemetery today.
Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. “No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15:13).

May Christ, who conquered death, grant these souls eternal rest and welcome them into His heavenly kingdom. We also lift in prayer the families and loved ones who carry both pride and sorrow in their hearts today.

Let us be grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and honor their sacrifice not only in word, but in how we love and serve one another.

ANNOUNCEMENTS for Sunday 5-24-26
Pentecost Sunday

1. GOOD MORNING! Welcome to Sacred Heart on this feast of Pentecost!
2. CELEBRANT – Today we offer a special Welcome and Thanks to Fr. Marion as our Mass celebrant.
3. FR SWAMY – As you know, Fr. Swamy’s mother passed away this week in India. We offer our heartfelt sympathy to Father and his family. Please keep them in your prayers! Please note there will be NO daily Masses while Fr. Swamy is gone.
4. MEMORIAL DAY – In honor of Memorial Day, there will be a Rosary service at 8am tomorrow morning at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
5. ACTS – Call to Share Message: The disciples are hiding behind locked doors, paralyzed by fear and uncertainty. Jesus says twice, “Peace be with you,” in calm assurance. He calls them out into the world to share the Good News and serve. He breathes on them the Holy Spirit, equipping them with the power and courage to fulfill their mission.
This same Spirit is given to us. We, too, are called to be Christ’s presence in our communities. One way we answer this call is by supporting Archdiocesan Call to Share, which sustains the Church’s mission through ministries of education, service, and outreach. Your gift helps send the Church into the world, just as Christ sent his first disciples. Please donate today to help us reach our Parish goal!

Today, we celebrate the powerful moment when the Holy Spirit descended, filling hearts with courage, unity, and purpose. What began as a small gathering became a movement that continues to impact the world today.

Pentecost reminds us that God’s presence lives within us, guiding, strengthening, and empowering us to share love, hope, and truth with others.

May your heart be renewed, your spirit be ignited 🔥, and may you walk boldly in faith.
