🔹From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU 🫶🏽 to each and every one of our incredible volunteers who came together to make our 99th Annual Grecian Festival such a smooth, successful, and amazing weekend! From the countless hours of preparation leading up to the festival to the cooking, baking, serving, setting up, cleaning, organizing, and everything in between, this weekend would simply not have been possible without your hard work, dedication, and love for our church and community. We are so grateful for every person who gave their time and talents to make this festival so special. After a little well-deserved rest, we hope you’re ready to do it all again—because next year is a BIG one! We can’t wait to welcome you all back for our 100th Annual Grecian Festival in 2027! 🇬🇷💙 Here’s to 100 years!

On Sunday, August 23rd, in the midst of our Festival, Assumption was blessed with a pastoral visit of our spiritual leader His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston. Upon his arrival His Eminence lit a candle in our church and was impressed by the repairs done to the Panagia apse and the dome. In church he met with our seminarian graduate Nicholas Dafulas and some of the newly baptized youth and catechumens from Brown University and elsewhere who attend our services. We then brought him to our kafeneio and treated him to a frappe and a sample of some of our food specialties. He sat with Fr. George Economou and Presbytera Helen and was glad to catch up with them. He greeted Anastasia Nikolopoulos and her husband Dr. Nick, who together with Anastasia Vellopoulou graciously served his Eminence food and drink. He also spoke to our president Andrea Vastis as well as with our former president George Karalis (pictured here) and Fr. Philip's son Angelo Zymaris. Everyone who passed by received the blessing of His Eminence. His Eminence was very happy with what we are doing at our parish and wished us a successful Festival.
