I am truly thankful to the Lord Jesus for the great men of our congregation. Each of you brothers has embraced one of life’s highest callings—the calling of a father.
In a world where leadership is often skewed and distorted, it is so refreshing to personally know and interact with men of great integrity—men who love and honor God and are deeply devoted to Him and His Word; men who place great value on their families and tirelessly invest in them.
You brothers have demonstrated that true leadership is found in service, sacrifice, and steadfast devotion to God. You have led your families not merely with words, but by example. Through your daily walk, you have shown that strength is not measured by muscle, power, or force, but by unwavering faithfulness to Christ and His Word.
You have stood for godly principles when they were not popular. You have made difficult decisions with courage and conviction. You have provided protection, direction, and stability for your homes. Yet alongside that strength, you have shown patience, tenderness, and understanding. Like our Heavenly Father, you have learned when to stand firm and when to extend mercy.
*Your children may not remember every lesson you taught, but they will remember the life you lived before them. They will remember a father who prayed, who believed God, who loved their mother, who loved This Message and the Messenger, and who remained faithful through both sunshine and storm*.
The Scriptures tell us, “Be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58). This describes the heart of a godly father. Though the burdens have often been heavy and the responsibilities great, you have continued to stand at your post, trusting God to guide your steps.
*When the storms of life are crashing violently around us and our faith seems delicate and fragile, your families need leaders—men who are fully convinced that God’s provided way for this age is the only source of overcoming power.*
THANK YOU for being men of conviction in a compromising age, men of prayer in a distracted age, and men of faith in an unbelieving age. Your influence reaches far beyond what you can see. The seeds you have planted through your example will continue to bear fruit for generations to come.
May the Lord strengthen your hands, encourage your hearts, and richly reward your faithfulness. May your homes continue to be places where Christ is honored, His Word is treasured, and His presence is welcomed.
We thank God for you, and we honor you today. May His blessings ever rest upon you and your family.
