Hi friends of NBISC! UPDATE STOLEN FOOD TRAILER!
As most of you know, the NBISC food trailer was stolen on September 4. It's never been found. It was also the 3rd of 4 trailers stolen in our area in a two week period. Satan's been busy, y'all. But God (don't you love those 2 words?!) showed His faithfulness yet AGAIN to us and He is providing a new food trailer for us as I type this. Through our insurance coverage and the generous donations of Pawleys Island Community Church we are able to fully pay for the new trailer and all the necessary equipment!! We should be back on the road sometime end of November.
But, the loss of the trailer did NOT stop our food service to our friends in need in the community! We praise God for our creative and hard working NBISC volunteers who continued to serve our neighbors the day we found out helping us find solutions to continue food service without missing a beat!
BIG NEWS!
Through this situation, we felt God leading us to move the Food Truck Ministry to PICC. The same for our Restoration Ministry! We will no longer function independently as No Boundaries International SC. We are working on our new name and are excited for this move. We will continue to go "beyond the walls of the church" into our community to serve those in needs, including partnering with other churches and nonprofits as we have been. We will also continue to use the resources of No Boundaries International, OKC, including “A Journey of Restoration” program and their other teaching materials. Lori Basey said it beautifully, "we serve with different names but with the same heart." So true. We love our NBI sisters and brothers and are so thankful for all they share with us.
To those of you who financially support us, we say THANK YOU, and ask that you now direct checks to Pawleys Island Community Church, memo line: Food truck ministry or AJOR. The address is 1304 Ocean Highway, Pawleys Island SC 29585. While we will receive regular monetary support from PICC now, we hope to expand our ministry further westward in the county to better serve the "food desert" areas where need is great. Thank you so very much. We pray our community is blessed by our service which we do for the glory of God. We are so grateful for your prayers and support and ask that you keep praying for NBISC during this transition into a new season as we continue forward to "LOVE LIKE JESUS."
-- Blessings! Michele
