Hey Church, couple prayer requests: please pray for the Martin Heatherly family. Services for Martin will take place at West Springs tomorrow. Visitation is at 12pm and the service will follow at 1pm.

Also keep Nick Royal in your prayers. He’s been admitted to Spartanburg Regional with an intestinal obstruction. Hopefully some strong steroids will do the job and he’ll be back home in a day or two.

Homecoming Sunday is fast approaching! Excited to have our Association Mission Strategist, Bryan Pittman, with us. I have no doubt that the worship service is going to be amazing and we will have the largest buffet in all of the Upstate afterwards, so make plans to invite someone and stay for lunch!

Leadership: That's our topic on Wednesday nights in our adult bible study. I hope you will join us each Wednesday night as we talk through Conviction, Culture & Constructs of leadership at WSBC. We are already starting to see that this next year will be a season of transition. During this series on Leadership we will be talking through the "Why" of change, and you as leaders in our church will help determine what changes are needed and how we best implement them for greater discipleship & kingdom impact. Tonight, I will be sharing what I believe are the 5 Most Critical Roles needed in this next year and how we make sure we are putting the "Right People in the Right Places"!!!
