With Full Hearts, We Say Thank You 💜
On May 9th, 2009, we walked out of the NICU after saying goodbye to our daughter, Alayna. There she spent 99 days, loved so well by a compassionate staff who cared for not just her, but for us as her parents and extended family.
As we left that day, heartbroken but full of faith, we knew Alayna’s story wasn’t over. God was still writing. Not long after, He led us to launch Praise and Pray Ministries, a calling to walk alongside other NICU families navigating the most tender and trying season of their lives.
From January 2010 until now, more than 15 years, we’ve had the incredible honor of serving NICU families with care packages, prayer, and most importantly, hope. Hope that only Jesus can give.
To all of you who have supported this ministry with your time, prayers, donations, and encouragement: THANK YOU. You’ve been part of every single life touched.
After much prayer and reflection, we’ve made the decision to officially close Praise and Pray Ministries as an organization. While we’ll no longer be delivering packages or serving in an organized capacity, our hearts are forever tied to the NICU.
We are still here. We are still praying. And if a need arises that we can personally help meet, we will do our best, just reach out. We may not be able to help everyone, but we will be in prayer for everyone.
Thank you again for believing in this mission, for walking with us, and for being part of God's work through Alayna’s legacy.
With all our love and gratitude,
Alayna's parents, Jared and Lacy Taylor
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we, ourselves receive from God.”
