Yesterday, Pastor Brian began our new sermon series, “Fall With Jeremiah,” with Fall Up from Jeremiah 1:1–10.

As we dig a little deeper into the book of Jeremiah, we find that God’s message through the prophet pointed beyond the circumstances of Jeremiah’s own day. In Jeremiah 31:31, God promised that a day was coming when He would establish a new covenant with His people.

Jeremiah looked ahead to that promise. We have the privilege of looking back and knowing its fulfillment in Jesus Christ.

September Missions 20:26 Prayer Emphasis

This month, we're praying for Sunday School and State Missions—that we would grow in God's Word and faithfully follow His call to serve others.

Throughout September, we'll learn more about the Janie Chapman State Missions Offering, our Prisoner Packet ministry, and opportunities to grow and serve right here at Friendship.

When we come to the Lord's Table, we remember more than a meal. We remember the journey Jesus willingly took to the cross and the price He paid for us.
