We are so excited about what God is going to do and we wanted to share with you the vision that we have for the future of this building project:
Weekly Fellowship Meetings- Our local fellowship group is currently packing into our beautiful new home on the property. We found if we move all our furniture out of the living area we can fit 75-80 seats, which are mostly filled every week. The meetings have been very sweet and homey:) But our usual shared meal together is only able to happen when the weather is good in this season so we are looking forward to meeting in the new hall when it is ready.
Harp + Farm Worship Space/Music Classes- The fellowship hall will be the main hub for Harp + Farm. Worship watches, music classes, Bible studies, and meals will all happen in the new hall.
Commercial Kitchen- This space will be where meals for students will be prepared. We are also planning on preparing fresh garden produce in this space as well as food preservation such as canning, butchering, etc will happen in this area.
Podcast Room- We have a small room that will be set aside for recording podcasts, song projects, and will probably be used for individual music lessons as well.
Merch Store/Offices- We are hoping to expand the merchandise for our store and this space will also be offices for L & P staff.
Seasonal Events- We are looking forward to hosting events again including the Biblical feasts and other encouraging events that will be focused on: Family, Worship, Prayer, Israel, Missions, etc. We are also designing the barn to be a beautiful place to host weddings and other special events as the opportunities arise :)
Local Ministry Opportunities- We have had several opportunities open up since our move. We have been blessed to share with local churches, youth groups, revival meetings, prayer meetings, etc in the area since the move. We have invited several of these local people to our weekly worship watches we are currently hosting at our house, for Shabbat Dinner, and some have been visiting our weekly meetings. We are hoping to be able to host regular local events such as: Weekly youth-led worship watches, monthly community Shabbat meals, weekly farm fun days, and more. Our local area is plagued with broken families, drugs, hopelessness, and lack of vision and discipleship. However, I believe the Spirit of Elijah is stirring up a hunger for something different and I am excited. The young couples and youth we have been connecting with are wanting more and we are praying God allows us to speak the hope of Yeshua into their lives.
