Congregational Church of Patchogue

Congregational Church of Patchogue We strive to help those less fortunate in our community and beyond Patchogue.

Though the current church building was built in 1892, the church itself dates back to 1793 in a small building, approximately 25 by 20 feet, that was shared with some local Methodists. Even after constructing a new building in 1820, the Congregationalists and Methodists shared the church building until 1832. A third location for the Congregationalists was built on the corner of Lake Street and Nor

th Ocean Avenue in 1854. The fourth and present building was added to the National Registry of Historic Places in 1991.

This Sunday, June 7th, the Congregational Church of Patchogue will host "Our Future Artificially Intelligent Church."

We will reflect on the intersection of faith and technology, considering how AI is transforming our worship practices. Our service at 10 a.m. will include traditional hymns and a surprise AI element. We aim to inspire questions and visions for the future of ministry. Join us as we honor our 233-year legacy while envisioning the future of ministry. Let's navigate this evolution together!

The free Barbershop at the Congregational Church of Patchogue is seeking one more cutter to join the team and volunteer.

This initiative supports men, women, and children, providing essential grooming services to those in need. Just three hours a month can make a significant impact on the community's self-esteem and well-being.

If you're a barber or stylist, or know someone who is, please contact us to get involved.
