09-02-26 Wednesday Evening Service "The Refining of the Remnant" - Zechariah 13:8-9

v8 - In the last days of the Tribulation and during the Battle of Armageddon in particular, two-thirds of the nation of Israel will be "cut off," a term often used in relation to judgment. These will most likely be unbelieving Jews.

v9 - The remaining one third are described as the believing remnant who will be refined like the way gold & silver are refined. Refinement is a purification process!

God refines all of His chosen one who are His children by faith in Christ from all nations. Are you submitting to God's refining process in your life? You will experience times of difficulties & sorrow, but you will also experience spiritual growth & great blessing in your life and will be a blessing to others!

MESSAGE (starts at 23:40) -- by Pastor Moore - “Love Never Fails” - 1 Cor 13:8; Rom 12:9-10; Eph 4:1-3; 1 Peter 1:22; 1 John 3:23
"Love never fails" are three of the greatest words in Scripture! These words have been demonstrated perfectly by only one Man - Jesus Christ! The spirit of love in the heart of a Christian will not "fail;" it may stumble or become weak, but it will never "cease" to exist or "fade away" forever. Ask God to revive & strengthen your love for others in the power of His Holy Spirit.

08-26-26 Wednesday Evening Service "The Eternal Message of the Nail-Scarred Hands" - Zechariah 13:6-7

Zech 13:6 - "One shall say to Him." Who is "Him"? It is the Lord Jesus Christ, who was crucified with nails in His hands. Jesus was "wounded in the house of [His] friends," most likely a reference to the nation of Israel that rejected Him as King & Savior.

Zech 13:7 - God the Father sent a "sword against my Shepherd", or His Son Jesus, to provide salvation for the entire world. "Smite the Shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered" likely refers to the nation of Israel being dispersed after the crucifixion, and being scattered spiritually & physically ever since.

Matt 26:31 and Mark 14:27 quote Zech 13:7 and show even from Old Testament times the incredible plan of salvation God has brought about for us!

MESSAGE -- by Pastor Moore - “The Greatest Definitions of Love - Section 2” - 1 Cor 13:6-7, Ps 19:8, Ps 37:3-5, Prov 3:5-6
Love has no joy or pleasure in sin. Love has complete joy and pleasure in the truth – that which is according to God’s Word. Love willingly and patiently endures difficult things – including difficult people. Love trusts others and takes them at their word unless their word is found to be untrue. Love trusts God that all things and situations will turn out well and according to His will (Rom 8:28).

Zech 12:10 to 13:5 shows the end of Israel's spiritual adultery and the start of her national repentance. Idols will be removed and false prophets will be revealed.

Luke 21:28, James 5:8, and Rev 1:7 - Be looking for the coming of the Lord and your redemption which draws near.

Love is far more than a feeling or emotion. Love begins in our hearts but is then made evident in our actions & attitudes towards others. Love is patient & kind; it's not jealous, boastful, or proud. Love does not act in an inappropriate way or seek to take advantage of others. Love does not take to heart a wrong or offense, and it does not keep a record of wrongs and offenses.
