A typical day in phase 1 of Outreach starts off with personal devotional/ prayer time and includes multiple Bible studies, along with some work time built in. With 19 acres, a garden, and a growing chicken flock, theres always something to clean, fix, or upkeep around here! The goal is to teach a lifestyle built on the foundation that Jesus is always the #1 priority, and while working is important, it cant be everything. Rest, fellowship, worship and service are all part of a healthy lifestyle.

In phase 2, men start working "real jobs" again- but the priorities remain the same. Men learn proper boundaries and how important saying "no" to a 60 hour work week and "yes" to Sabbath and giving of our time, talent and resources are.

Outreach Ministries exists to offer men in crisis a path to true freedom in Christ. We have beds available in our residential Restoration and Discipleship program.

August 29, 2021, is a day we will never forget. On that day, Outreach Ministries lost a dear friend, leader, mentor, and brother in Christ, Steve Maldonado.

Steve gave his heart to outreach and to the men God placed in his path.
He believed in restoration, second chances, and the power of Jesus to change a life.
His encouragement, wisdom, kindness, and love for people left a mark that will never be erased.

Five years later, we still miss him. But we also remember him with gratitude. His life continues to be part of the story God is writing through Outreach Ministries and the men whose lives have been changed.

Steve, you are deeply missed, forever remembered, and always a part of the Outreach family. Until we meet again!❤️❤️

Outreach has multiple (dry!) beds open in phase 1 of our men's mentorship and discipleship program. We exist to offer men in crisis situations a path to true freedom in Christ.
