God created us to work with purpose, but He also reminds us that rest matters, even when the work isnโ€™t finished.

โ€œSix days you shall labor, but on the seventh day you shall rest; even during the plowing season and harvest you must rest.โ€ Exodus 34:21

Even in the busiest seasons, God calls us to make room for rest. So today, we hope youโ€™re able to slow down, spend time with people you love, and enjoy a well-earned break from the everyday hustle.

Up first:โ€‹โ€‹โ€œQuestions About the Churchโ€. What is a question YOU have about the church?

โ€œJust as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. The work continues with the ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜„ ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฑ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ปโ€™๐˜€ ๐˜„๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด! Below are some recent pictures giving the progress. The new kidsโ€™ entrance will have glass doors giving the area a very airy and light feeling. The side of the building will have a combination of stucco and stonework, reflecting the idea of the nature around us on our property. The classrooms are being painted, the gridwork for the ceiling and lights is being installed.

In the next few weeks as the connection is being prepared between the current building and the new childrenโ€™s wing, the south wall of the cafรฉ will be taken out and glass storefront doors installed. While we are still being required to construct a southbound turn lane at our York Road entrance, the county is granting us occupancy without that being completed. Initially, the turn lane was part of the occupancy requirement. Most likely, the turn lane will be a project for next spring. Continue to pray for the safety of the construction workers.
