Get Out of Your Head is a Biblical guide to discovering how to submit our minds to Christ because how we think shapes how we live. As we surrender every thought to Jesus, the promises of God flood our lives in profound ways.

In Get Out of Your Head DVD Bible study, Jennie Allen inspires you to stop negative thinking patterns and take back control of your thoughts and emotions. This six-session study will guide you through the book of Philippians, challenging you to fight the enemies of the mind with the truth of God’s promises and His goodness.

Do you ever struggle to trust God with your children?

Me, too, friend.

Though I have complete faith in God, when it comes down to the nitty-gritty of fully trusting His plans for my kids, I fall short.

I worry.
I get incredibly anxious.
I make lots of suggestions to God on their behalf. I try to keep things in their world calm, free of hurt and on track toward some “best plan” I’ve imagined for them.

I’m learning, slowly, how to grab hold of the only plan that is foolproof with my kids — truly entrusting them to the Lord. The very best thing a mom can ever do is to recognize only God is good at being God.

I’m finally getting this. I know it’s not always easy to release control, sweet friend. But our best job as moms is to be obedient to God. God’s job is everything else.

That’s why I’ve put together “15 Prayers for Your Son or Daughter” to help you in your journey of learning to trust the Lord with your kids.
