We had an awesome time ending the year with a ton of paint fun! We played tug of war, went down the slip n slide, played capture the flag, ate great food, and got covered in paint!!

What if God actually wants to hear everything from you 🤔

This week we talked about what it really looks like to be in the presence of God. We learned that it’s so much more than just reading our Bible or checking a box. God actually wants a relationship with us. He wants to hear from us. He cares about our thoughts, our complaints, our praises, and even our fears.

Piñata Battles Winners 🪅👑

The middle school girls won our three week battle! As a group, they memorized 314 verses during that time!! Not to mention, the other groups also memorized tons of verses, met with their small group teachers, brought their Bibles, and of course competed hard in our games.

We also wrapped up our series on the Lord’s Supper this week. Students learned where communion comes from, why we partake in it, and how and why we examine ourselves and discern the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 11:28-29). We finished by taking communion together.

Gravitate 3/15 🧼🧀

We had a great night in the second week of our piñata battles and learning more about the Last Supper. We focused on how Jesus chose to serve His disciples in His final days and how we should do the same for the people around us.

STUDENT SERVE DAY!! 🍴🍛

We had a blast serving with this weekend! 25 students and 10 adult leaders gave up their Saturday morning to pack meals. Over 5,000 meals were packed and will be provided this week, right here in our community!!

We played matball, ate cereal, and most importantly, heard from God’s Word! 🥣📖

We wrapped up our series learning about Jesus’s interactions on Earth with the Great Commission in Matthew 28:16-20. We focused on how, as Christians, we have the best news ever in Jesus, and we should do everything we can to share that with those around us! ✝️

🍝✝️ We ate good food, played games, and most importantly, heard the truth of Jesus!!

We heard from Luke 23:32–43 about Jesus’ interaction with the criminals on the cross. We learned that forgiveness is instant and that as Christians, we are called to forgive as we have been forgiven!
