The service was a joyful and spiritually uplifting gathering, characterized by heartfelt worship, praise, prayer, and active participation from the congregation.
The Preacher, Rev. Okon Udoh ministered on the topic “Surrender All,” emphasizing the importance of completely yielding one’s life, plans, possessions, ambitions, and future to God. The message challenged believers to move beyond partial commitment and give God total control of their lives.
Using Matthew 19:29, the Minister encouraged that no genuine sacrifice made for Christ is forgotten or unrewarded. Believers who surrender relationships, possessions, comfort, or personal interests for the sake of Christ can trust God for His divine reward.
From Philippians 4:13, the preacher reminded the congregation that complete surrender does not mean weakness. Rather, when we surrender ourselves to God, we receive strength through Christ to face challenges, overcome difficulties, and accomplish His purpose.
The account in Acts 5:1–6, concerning Ananias and Sapphira, was used as a serious warning against pretended surrender. The preacher stressed that God desires genuine obedience and honesty, not outward appearances. Their failure was not merely about what they possessed, but about their attempt to deceive God while claiming to have surrendered everything.
