Come one, come all! The Paso Robles Methodist Church is participating in the annual Golden Oak Honey and Pumpkin Festival in the downtown park this Saturday.

We will have a booth filled with a variety of handcrafted items that would make great gifts or add some beauty to your own home.

Our booth will be located on 12th Street just west of the Park Street entrance. Come see us, have a look around and enjoy another wonderful day in Paso Robles.

Sing! Is back next week -- THURSDAY, AUGUST 7th from 7pm - 8:30 pm!

Come get a serotonin boost as we sing through feel-good, popular songs from every era and different genres, led and accompanied by our musical director Bobby Vesnaver.

You don't have to be a member of our congregation to participate -- all are welcome!

Bring a friend and you'll be sure to leave the building with smiles on your faces and songs in your hearts.

Mark Your Calendars! Our community choir, Sing!, has been on hiatus for the month of July, but will be starting back up on *THURSDAY, AUGUST 7th @ 7-8:30 PM* at the church.

We sing songs of different decades & different genres and leave happier than we were when we came in.

Don't save your singing for when you're all alone in the shower -- come belt out some classics among new friends!

See you Thursday, August 7th, 7pm @ 915 Creston Rd, Paso Robles. All are welcome!

Amid growing concerns of ICE activity within our community, be sure to save the phone number for the Rapid Response Hotline to report any activity you see. Help keep the community informed while standing up for our neighbors who feel scared and unsafe.

If you see someone being detained:

* Document the interaction by taking video on your phone, without interfering.
* Note details including the time and location of the detainment, and where the person will be transported and held.
* Ask for and note the officer's name and badge number.
* Help the person being detained remember their rights: they do not have to answer any questions, they should not sign anything.
* Ask the person being detained if there are family members or friends you can notify about their situation.

Dear Community: neighbors have reported seeing recent ICE activity near vineyards off of Creston Rd in recent days. Please remember in any interaction with law enforcement, you have rights!

IF YOU SEE SOMEONE BEING DETAINED, here are some things YOU can do to help:
- Stay calm and note any details like the time and location of the detention. *Ask the agent(s) for their names and badge numbers.
- Document without interfering. Record the encounter with videos whenever possible, while remaining safe.
- Support the detained person by reminding them of their rights (you don't have to answer any questions, do not sign anything, etc.). Try to find out how you can notify their family/friends about the situation and where they are being held.
- Inform community groups, advocacy agencies, and other neighbors of the activity.

Share this information, and stay courageous! Our immigrant brothers and sisters are a valuable and vital part of our community and they deserve to feel safe here.
