🙏 Good Friday Reflection 🙏
Today, we pause and remember the depth of love, sacrifice, and grace.
On this sacred day, may we reflect on the meaning of the cross — a reminder of compassion, forgiveness, and unwavering faith. Even in sorrow, there is hope. Even in sacrifice, there is redemption.
As we walk through this day, may our hearts be filled with humility, gratitude, and peace.
Wishing our dear Friends of Carmel community a blessed and meaningful Good Friday. ✝️

🙏 LET US PRAY FOR CEBU AND THE PHILIPPINES 🙏
On September 30, 2025, a magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck Cebu, followed by more than 300 aftershocks. Many families, communities, and churches in northern Cebu have been deeply affected.
Prayer in the Wake of the Earthquake
Loving and Merciful Father, we come before You in this moment of trial, lifting up to You all our brothers and sisters affected by the recent earthquake. We pray for their safety and protection. Comfort the fearful, strengthen the weary, and surround the injured and displaced with Your tender care.
We offer special intentions for the churches in northern Cebu that have been destroyed. These sacred spaces have long been places of prayer, hope, and refuge. May they rise again as signs of Your enduring presence among us. Inspire the generosity of hearts and hands to help rebuild what was lost. May this tragedy awaken in us a deeper sense of solidarity, compassion, and faith in Your providence. Amen.
🙏 Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of Cebu, keep us steadfast in hope and united in love.
