I know a lot of people suffer with anxiety. I do and sometimes it’s crippling. However, God gives us hope. I pray the Holy Spirit will help us learn to lean into him during those anxious times.

We were never meant to act like Jesus. We are meant to be like Him. That's a huge shift in perspective. The law came as a tutor to show us that we can never act like Him with any lasting consistency and therefore righteousness can never be obtained through the law.

But grace empowers us to become like Jesus. Trying to keep the law requires us to live with a sin focus (our ability to miss it) but grace requires us to live with a Jesus focus (His ability to transform me into His image) and I can do ALL things THROUGH Christ Jesus who strengthens me. Sounds like a new covenant life to me.
