Life has its ups and downs, but God remains constant through them all. The mountain doesn’t make Him more faithful, and the valley doesn’t make Him less faithful. Seasons change, circumstances shift, people come and go but God remains God.

Sometimes the “up” reminds us of His goodness, while the “down” teaches us the depth of His faithfulness. And when we look back, we often discover that He was just as present in the valley as He was on the mountaintop.

Maturity in God is when we can say, “Lord, I thank You for the mountaintops, but I’ve learned not to lose You in the valleys.”

So we keep living.
We keep loving.
We keep believing.
We keep trusting.
And most of all, we keep our eyes on Jesus.

Because life may go up and down but God keeps carrying us forward.
Have an EXTRAORDINARY day🙏🏽💜

The Fragrance of Jesus

“Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.” John 12:3

When Mary broke the alabaster jar, the fragrance filled the entire house. That’s a beautiful picture of surrendered worship: when a life is broken before the Lord, the fragrance doesn’t stay on the worshiper, it fills the whole atmosphere. I believe that’s what God desires for His Church today: not merely to host His presence, but to carry His fragrance wherever we go.

Every person leaves behind a fragrance. Not a physical scent, but the aroma of the life they carry.

Some leave behind fear.
Some leave behind strife.
Some leave behind pride.
But those who have truly been with Jesus leave behind His fragrance.

The fragrance of Jesus is love that embraces the broken.
It is peace that settles a troubled room.
It is humility that never needs recognition.
It is mercy that forgives before it is asked.
It is joy that remains when circumstances change.

Fragrance cannot be manufactured. It is produced by proximity.

The more time we spend in His presence, the more His character becomes our own. We stop trying to sound like Jesus and begin to resemble Him. People may not remember every sermon we preach, but they will remember how they felt after being with us.

Moses came down from the mountain with a face that shone. We are called to carry something even greater, not merely a shining face, but the very fragrance of Christ wherever we go.

The world does not simply need gifted believers. It needs believers who carry the aroma of heaven into homes, workplaces, hospitals, grocery stores, and every conversation.

May people leave our presence saying, “I don’t know what it was, but I encountered something precious.

That is the fragrance of Jesus!!!

As we close this conversation, this Scripture comes to mind:

“For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.”
2 Corinthians 2:15

Notice that Paul doesn’t say we merely carry the fragrance of Christ, he says we are the fragrance of Christ to God. Before our lives become a witness to people, they are first a pleasing aroma to the Father.

Remember this:
The alabaster jar remained beautiful while it was sealed, but its purpose was not fulfilled until it was broken.

So it is with us.

God is not looking for polished vessels as much as yielded hearts. Often, the sweetest fragrance comes from lives that have been broken by disappointment, refined through suffering, and healed by His grace. Brokenness in God’s hands does not produce bitterness, it produces worship.

May your life continue to be a powerful aroma and an incense rising before Him. not because of perfect performance, but because of wholehearted love.

What a day at The Extraordinary Church!

From our Father’s Day Breakfast to an incredible service led by our young people, today was a beautiful reminder that God’s hand is upon every generation.

To all of the fathers, thank you for your sacrifice, leadership, wisdom, and love. We honor you and celebrate the difference you make every day.

To our Youth Department, thank you for serving with excellence. You didn’t just participate today—you led. We are proud of the young men and women God is raising up in this house.

A special thank you to everyone who cooked, decorated, served, cleaned, gave, and worked behind the scenes to make today possible. Ministry is always a team effort, and we are blessed with some of the best people anywhere.

My heart is full as I look at these photos and see generations worshipping together, serving together, and growing together. This is what church family looks like.

Thank you for making today so special. We give God all the glory for what He is doing at The Extraordinary Church.
