God covered and protected us mightily today as we praised and worshipped in the midst of the storm.

Our lay speaker Tanya Haynes offered a powerful word for today’ Pastor’s Appreciation, reminding us of Paul’s words, that EVERY knee shall bow and EVERY tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! -Philippians 2:9-11 “There is Power in the Name of Jesus!”🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

As we wore pink today, we celebrated Breast Cancer survivors including our own Mrs. Nichols! We remember with love those who have been healed to rest with the Lord. Finally, we concluded our appreciation service with the traditional “Pounding the Pastor!”

Please keep in prayer all from Gautier who were affected by the tornado! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Today’s Annual Friends and Family Day was truly a blessing as we offered up praise and thanksgiving to God, while the joy of homecoming, generosity and fun-loving family competitions ensued!

The message today was about the bent over woman from Luke 13:10-17. We were reminded today that being “bent over” doesn’t have to remain our posture when Christ invites us to come and be healed of whatever ails us!
