There is a profound shift happening in the Spirit right now, a move from the orphan heart to the Spirit of true sonship.

The Orphan’s Struggle is like this...An orphan operates out of a survival mindset. Because they feel unsupported, they believe they must hustle for visibility. They seek influence with man, chasing platforms, titles, and the approval of people to feel secure. But influence without intimacy is a heavy burden that eventually leads to burnout.

The son’s secret is simple. A son (or daughter) knows they are already owned, loved, and provided for. They don't scramble for a seat at the table because they already have an inheritance. Instead of seeking influence with man, they seek intimacy with GOD. They know that when you are hidden in the Father, the right doors open without you having to kick them down but in His perfect timing.

The Lord is calling us out of the "striving" and into the "seeking."
📖 Galatians 4:7: "So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God."
📖 Psalm 27:8: My heart says of you, "Seek his face!" Your face, Lord, I will seek.

❤️‍🔥🗣🕊💯 Stop measuring your worth by the "likes" of man or the reach of your influence. The Father is and has been inviting you into the Secret Place. When you prioritize the inner chamber of intimacy with Him, the outer world will begin to reflect the authority you carry. You were not called to be a performer; you were born to be a beloved child of the only one and True Heavenly Father.

It's time! The era of the orphan hustle is over. The season of the Son’s rest has begun!

🚨 The Cost of the "Add-On" Christ 🚨
In Matthew 19, (read passage📖 below👇🏼) a young man walks away from Eternal Life—not because he was "bad," but because he was FULL. He had kept the rules, but he hadn't surrendered his heart.
The Revelation: Jesus wasn’t just talking about his bank account; He was identifying the throne in the man’s heart.
For many today, Jesus has become an "accessory" to a life we still own. We want to add His blessings to our bank accounts, His favor to our careers, and His protection to our families—all while keeping the steering wheel in our own hands. We want a Savior to save us from hell, but not a Lord to lead us into His Will.
🏹 The Heart of the Matter🎯
When Jesus tells us to "sell it all," He is looking for the idols hidden behind our religious performance.
➡️ Our Plans: Are we chasing His vision or asking Him to rubber-stamp ours?
➡️ Our Comfort: Are we willing to be inconvenienced by the Holy Spirit?
➡️ Our Identity: If everything you own, the relayives and people your teying to impress or please, everything you do, that relationship or person you place on a pedestal was stripped away today, would Jesus be enough?
🔥 Don’t Quench the Fire 🕊
You cannot live a transformed life by grace while clinging to a self-governed soul. When we refuse to surrender our "possessions"—our ways, our rights, and our selfish desires—we stifle and quench the Holy Spirit. The Spirit doesn’t come to decorate your life; He comes to consume it and to do things the Kingdom way.
Grace isn't just a safety net for our sins; it is the power to live transformed. The Father isn't looking for people who "do" religion(and that shows up in many ways); He is looking for those who perpetually yield to His Will.
The question for us today is: Are you following Him, or are you just asking Him to follow you?
Stop trying to add Jesus to your life. Give Him your life, and watch Him give you the Kingdom that is everlasting. 🙌🔥

Someone came to Jesus with this question: “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?”
“Why ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. But to answer your question—if you want to receive eternal life, keep[b] the commandments.”
“Which ones?” the man asked.
And Jesus replied: “‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. Honor your father and mother. Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
“I’ve obeyed all these commandments,” the young man replied. “What else must I do?”
Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he had many possessions.

Listen👂 this here ain't just a poem in a book. This is the Truth, spoken over our land and our lives. When you read Psalm 72, a Psalm of Solomon "The reign of a righteous King," The end of the prayers of David the son of Jesse...that part about the rain comin' down on the mown grass, don't you just feel it? That sweet, heavy air after a long summer rain. That's the refreshment, the blessing that GOD promises. But before that rain, there's a part you gotta do. You gotta cut the field.
SEE, there's a SEASON for EVERYTHING, and you've been nurturing your field. You've been WATCHIN' it grow, puttin' in the hard work, pullin' the weeds. But now, that harvest is ready. It's standin' tall, waitin'. And if you don't take that blade to it, if you don't make that cut, that new life, that fresh green shoot can't come through. The blessing can't fall on what's already there. It needs the space to grow.
So, this is your prophetic word, straight from the heart. It's time to cut your field. It's time to lay down the old, to release what's served its purpose. Don't be afraid of the work, don't be scared of the change. That's the only way to make room for what GOD is about to pour out. Get ready for the rain, child. It's comin'!

🫟 May he come down like rain on the mown grass, Like showers that water the earth.

Listen👂 beloved, I want to talk to you about joy in the middle of a mess. The world tells you that joy comes when everything's going right, but Jesus the Messiah very own brother James, he comes along and says something different. He says, "Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials."
Now, I know some of you are sittin' there thinkin', "Joshua, that sounds crazy!" But let me tell ya somethin'...GOD ain't askin' you to be happy about the trial, He's tellin' you to find the joy in it! It's like a farmer lookin' at a field full of weeds; he knows it's a hard season, but he also knows that workin' that land is gonna bring a harvest!
See, those trials, those tests! They ain't there to break you. They're there to make you stronger. James says that the testing of your faith produces endurance. That's right! GOD is usin' every setback, every heartache, and every struggle to build somethin' in you that can't be bought, somethin' that can't be taught, and somethin' that can't be taken away!
The Word says in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope."
GOD is workin' in you to make you a complete and perfect vessel, lackin' in nothing. So the next time you hit a rough patch, don't just endure it—embrace it. Because on the other side of that trial, a brand-new you is waitin' to be born, full of joy and complete in Him! AMEN AMEN! 🙏🏼
❤️‍🔥🗣🕊💯🔥⚔️🔥

🫟(JAMES 1:2-8) Consider it nothing but joy, my [a]brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.
If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind. For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides].

🫟(ROMANS 5:3-4) And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation].

🫟(1 TIMOTHY 6:6-8) But godliness actually is a source of great gain when accompanied by contentment [that contentment which comes from a sense of inner confidence based on the sufficiency of God]. For we have brought nothing into the world, so [it is clear that] we cannot take anything out of it, either. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.

A blessed day to y'all! Listen👂! Let's get into God's word for a moment.
John 3:8 "The wind blows where it wishes and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Now, let's talk about that wind. You can't see it, but you sure can feel it. It can be a gentle breeze on a hot summer day, or a mighty gust or heavy sustained force that sways and snaps branches, uproots trees, and even rips buildings right off of their foundations. That, my friends, is the same way the Holy Spirit moves. You can't put Him in a box, you can't predict His movements, and you can't tell Him what to do. He moves in mighty and wonderous ways.
This isn't just a New Testament truth, either. Think about Isaiah 43:19: "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."
Just like you can't tell the wind where to go, you can't put God's plans on a TIMELINE. He's always doing a new thing, even when you can't see it yet. He's making a way where there seems to be no way. He's bringing life and water to the dry, barren places in your life!
And let's not forget Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
You see, that wind, that Holy Spirit, is God's GPS for your life. You may not understand the twists and turns, but you can trust the One who's steering the ship. So, let go of your need to control, and lean into the leading and the might of the Holy Spirit. He's got you, and He's taking you somewhere beautiful!

Listen friends I just want to thank the good Lord for another day, another breath, another chance to lean into His Truth.
You know, sometimes we come to the Word of God like it's a novel. We get a little momentum goin', we get to readin' chapter after chapter, page after page, tryin' to get through it. We want to say we "finished the Bible." And bless your heart for the effort, I truly mean that. But I'm gonna tell you somethin' that's been heavy on my Spirit lately.
The Bible ain't meant to be read through. It's meant to be lived out. It's a never ending story that is ALIVE!
We can't just come to these sacred pages with our own human understanding, our own notions, our own little ideas about how things oughta be. That's a recipe for disaster, darlin'. It's like tryin' to navigate a river down here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where I'm from without a map, compass, or GPS for the first time, just thinkin' you know which way the current's gonna flow. You're gonna end up on a sandbar, stuck, or worse yet, you're gonna be lost in a marsh, or the bayou.
The Apostle Peter, he knew a thing or two about bein' a fisherman, and he knew a thing or two about the dangers of a man's own will. He tells us in 2 Peter 1:20-21, and I want you to hear this in your soul and Spirit today: "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit."
Do you hear that, saints? It wasn't some man's bright idea. It wasn't a good thought he had on a Monday afternoon. These men, they were moved. The Holy Spirit, like a gentle breeze on a hot summer day, came and filled their sails, and they spoke what He gave them to speak. It was the breath of God.
And what was true then is still true today. This ain't a book for us to interpret on our own. It's a book for us to be led through. The Holy Spirit, the same Spirit that moved those men to write, is the same Spirit that wants to move us to understand. Jesus himself told the disciples this very thing: "But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you." (John 14:26)
You see, the truth of God's Word ain't just a list of facts to be memorized. It's a living thing. It's a two-edged sword, sharper than any you've ever seen (Hebrews 4:12). And it's meant to cut through the muck and the mire of our own sin, our own pride, our own misunderstandin'.
So I'm gonna challenge you today. I'm gonna challenge you, and I'm gonna challenge myself right along with you. Don't just pick up your Bible to get through a chapter. Pick it up, and before you ever read a single word, whisper a prayer. "Holy Spirit, lead me. Open my eyes to see the truth. Open my ears to hear the wisdom. Open my heart to receive the grace."
Let Him be the one to guide you. Let Him be the one to interpret. Let Him be the one to breathe life into those words, so they're not just ink on a page, but a flame in your soul. Because when He leads you, you ain't just readin' the Bible. You're walkin' with God. And that's a journey that's gonna take you places you never imagined.
Amen.
