10/10/2026
Today, October 10, Gethsemane Institutional Church of God in Christ proudly celebrates two extraordinary women, Sis. Jasmine Paige-McCorvey and the late Dr. Kimberly Frantae Paige, daughters of our beloved Pastor, Administrative Assistant Kippy Paige, Sr., and First Lady Linda Paige.
These remarkable women have exemplified what it truly means to be Pastor’s daughters. They have not simply carried the title, but have demonstrated through their lives the importance of faith, education, leadership, and faithful service to God and His people.
Throughout the years, both sisters have made significant contributions to our ministry. Dr. Kimberly Paige faithfully served as Minister of Music, President of the Youth Explosion Committee, and Leader of the Pantomime Ministry. Through her vision and leadership, she helped cultivate the gifts of young people and encouraged them to pursue excellence.
Sis. Jasmine Paige-McCorvey has faithfully served as our Praise and Worship Leader, while also contributing to the Youth Ministry, Music Ministry, Pastor’s Anniversary Committee, and various other church initiatives. Her continued dedication reflects her genuine love for God and commitment to ministry.
Even while pursuing higher education, earning advanced degrees, and establishing successful careers, these sisters never forgot their spiritual foundation. They continued traveling home on Sundays to worship, minister, and serve their local church. They did not simply encourage young people to pursue their dreams and invest in their education. They led by example.
🕊️ HONORING THE LEGACY OF DR. KIMBERLY FRANTAE PAIGE
Today, we celebrate the life and enduring legacy of Dr. Kimberly Paige, a visionary, innovator, educator, and passionate mental health advocate who transitioned from this earthly life on July 15, 2025.
As Director of Counseling and Psychological Services at Southern University at New Orleans, Dr. Paige devoted her career to helping students navigate life’s challenges and achieve personal and academic success. Her contributions were so significant that the university renamed its counseling center in her honor, the Dr. Kimberly Paige Counseling and Psychological Services Center.
What a remarkable legacy! Although her earthly journey ended far too soon, her vision continues to impact students and change lives. Her work continues, her influence remains, and her legacy will never be forgotten.
💜 CELEBRATING SIS. JASMINE PAIGE-McCORVEY
Today, we also celebrate Jasmine for her continued faithfulness, leadership, and service. Even while navigating the tremendous loss of her beloved sister, she continues to press forward, using her gifts and talents to bless others and support the ministry.
We recognize that this birthday is bittersweet. For years, these sisters shared not only a birthday, but a beautiful bond, countless memories, and a commitment to making a difference.
Jasmine, we thank God for your life, your strength, and your continued service. We pray that He grants you peace, renewed joy, and many more blessed years.
🌷 A LEGACY THAT WILL CONTINUE
The Paige sisters have truly been trailblazers, inspiring generations of young people to pursue education, embrace leadership, serve God, and strive for excellence.
Their greatest contribution is not simply the positions they have held, but the lives they have touched, the people they have inspired, and the example they have set.
We extend our continued love and prayers to the entire Paige family as they navigate this special yet difficult day.
Gethsemane is stronger because they served, better because they gave, and forever impacted because they chose to make a difference.
🎉 Happy Birthday, Sis. Jasmine Paige-McCorvey!
