Centering is back with our 9th season entitled "Speaking Asian American"!

This season features conversations between Daniel D Lee, Academic Dean of Asian American Center of Fuller Theological Seminary and Associate Professor of Theology and Asian American Studies, and Julie Yeeun Kim, AAC Fellow and Lecturer of Asian American Studies, Cal State University, Long Beach (CSULB), presenting the importance of language.

By using language that better represents our diversity and complexity, we can educate our audiences and correct harmful stereotypes and misconceptions about Asian America. This is what we mean by speaking Asian American.

The "Absence" of God (podcast)

In this episode, Dr. Chloe Sun (LOGOS Evangelical Seminary, and another Fuller alum!) joins Dr. Janette Hur Ok (Fuller Seminary) to speak about Song of Songs: why is such an abstract lyrical work included in the Bible? And what can this text, without a single explicit mention of God, reveal about God's seeming "absences"?

The Asian American Center invites Fuller students, staff, and faculty to partake in the 54th Annual Manzanar Pilgrimage.

Each year, the Manzanar Committee and the U.S. National Park Service organize the Manzanar Pilgrimage on the last Saturday of April to remember the forced relocation and unjust incarceration of more than 110,000 Japanese Americans and their families during WWII. Now on its 54th year (and after a hiatus from the COVID-19 pandemic), the Annual Manzanar Pilgrimage will be held live and in-person at the Manzanar National Historic Site on April 29, 2023.

COST: $55 ($65 after April 10)

Due to limited capacity, registration will first be opened to Fuller students, faculty, and staff. If we have open seats remaining by April 10, we will open registration to non-Fuller attendees.
