Greatness is not something we earn by performing for approval. It is something we learn to recognize, agree with, and live from.

Have you ever been certain you knew where life was taking you—only to encounter a turn you never planned for?

We can spend the entire journey worrying about whether we’re on the right road, or we can remember that Spirit sees the whole map.

Perhaps we don’t have to know every turn. Perhaps we can relax, enjoy the scenery, laugh at the unexpected detours and trust that we are being guided. Even when we arrive somewhere we never intended to be, Spirit may have better plans than our GPS.

Unexpected expenses. Delays. A difficult conversation. A plan that suddenly changes.

Life keeps showing up, and with it comes another opportunity to choose how we meet the moment.

This Sunday, Rev. Dr. Nancy Berggren joins us at Pasadena New Thought Center with “Enjoy The Ride,” a message about turning inward when life gets bumpy, listening for guidance, and remembering that peace, love, gratitude, and joy remain available even when the road looks different than we expected.

Take a deep breath and become present to the joy, gratitude and possibility within this moment.

In this prayer, Rev. Judy reminds us that we are individualized expressions of the loving Spirit. When we recognize that presence within ourselves, we can begin to see it in everyone, as everyone, everywhere.

We can also pause to bless those who came before us—the people whose choices helped create an environment where love, joy and spiritual growth could take root.

What changes when we pause long enough to recognize the Divine presence in one another?

Walls begin to come down. Strangers become fellow spiritual travelers. A room becomes a community.

During our Circle of Love, we extend loving energy beyond those gathered in the sanctuary—to everyone in need of prayer, the members of our community who could not be with us, and society at large.

The flower doesn’t chase the bees.
It blooms, and the bees come.

That line from Rev. Judy Osuna’s Sunday message says a lot.

So much of life gets spent reacting, cleaning up messes, and focusing on what already happened. But spiritual life invites us into something deeper:

Life is an inside job.
What we give breath to, we give life to.

If we keep feeding fear, frustration, and old conditions, that is what grows. But if we give breath to possibility, vision, and the good we want to see, something new begins to bloom.

This is one small taste of Sunday’s message.
