This Sunday at Pasadena New Thought Center, Rev. Dr. Nancy Berggren joins us with “Falling Down to Rise Again.”

As Dr. Nancy reminds us, “There are no oceans without waves and no lives without challenges.” Life can change quickly. One moment we feel calm, confident, and courageous, and the next we may feel thrown off, overwhelmed, or discouraged. Yet even in those moments, there are spiritual tools that can help us remember who we really are and return to a calmer, more grounded state of mind, spirit, and body.

Her message will explore how The Presence is always present, even when we do not feel it, and how we can call upon It, expect It, and give thanks for It in advance.

What does it mean to give ourselves fully to the Divine?

This Sunday is a special one at Pasadena New Thought Center: our Homecoming Celebration.

Rev. Shannan Powell will share “The Washing of the Feet,” exploring a shift in perspective:
“It’s not what we get from GOD; it’s what we give to GOD!”

Homecoming gives us an opportunity to gather, reconnect, honor the community that has carried PNTC forward, and consider what each of us brings to its next chapter.

Feeling disconnected from yourself / from your heart and your passion?
Join us for a gentle, ALL LEVELS class with a deeply relaxing sound bath...Every Saturday 8:30-9:45am in the garden. Reconnect with yourself. Connect with nature. (inside if weather is uncooperative).

Yoga means "to yoke / to join" because it joins the finite self with the infinite self or spirit. Yoga is a spiritual practice that serves to help the student embody their spirituality, therefore gaining integrity in their actions.
Integrity = integration of the knowing into the being/doing.
Its origin is in India where it is a spiritual practice. It is here in the west that people have focused more on making it a strictly physical practice, but ultimately it heals mind/body/spirit, bringing all three into cohesion. You might say that it serves to help you "practice what you preach".

What helps us stay rooted when life begins to shift beneath our feet?

This Sunday, Rev. Wendy Silvers joins us at Pasadena New Thought Center with “Shelter and Soul: The Power of the Rose and the Oak.”

When external certainties strip away and the ground beneath us begins to shift, what do we draw upon to find the strength to stand tall and remain open and soft-hearted?

Rev. Wendy will take us on an inspiring exploration into the Hieros Gamos, the sacred marriage of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine, as reflected in the wisdom of the natural world. We’ll look at the timeless dance between the Rose and the Oak.

Join us for a morning of reflection, inspiration, and spiritual community.
