Two years ago today, we opened our doors with hope. We had no idea what was coming.

The fires came. Our community was devastated. But our people showed up and served with love. Then we found a new location, and we worked to make it feel more like home (still are).

We kept showing up, every Sunday, at 10 AM. The church was never the building. It’s the people. And people are still coming to Jesus, one baptism at a time.

Two years in, we’re still just getting started. Celebrate with us this Sunday. 10 AM. Worship will be 🙌 Sermon will be 😩 Vibe will be ❤️‍🔥

What if family discipleship started with three simple pauses in your day?

Morning: Start with Scripture.
Read the Verse of the Day and invite God’s Word to shape how you see the day ahead.

Midday: Pray the Lord’s Prayer.
Pause, recenter your heart on God, and remember that His kingdom comes first.

Evening: Practice gratitude.
End the day by thanking God for His faithfulness and reflecting on the ways you experienced His goodness.

We’re calling these daily rhythms “altar calls.” Not just moments to pray, but moments to bring ourselves before God and offer our lives to Him as living sacrifices.

Because discipleship isn’t just about what you teach your kids. It’s about the rhythms you build into everyday life that help your whole family learn to live with Jesus.

Three simple prayers. A daily rhythm of surrender. A family being formed in the presence of God.

Many of us picture the altar as a place we walk to once. A moment of decision, and then we return to our normal lives. But in Scripture, the altar isn’t a starting line. It’s a place people kept coming back to (Romans 12:1-2)

In Church on Fire, we’re asking what it looks like to return every day. Not with a long checklist, but with a few honest moments: God’s word in the morning, the Lord’s prayer at midday, gratitude in the evening.

Save this for the days your fire feels low. Then send it to someone who needs to come back to the altar too.

Don’t just look like the church. Be the church.

God loves His church too much to let sin take root. Acts 5 reminds us that God isn’t looking for appearances—He’s looking for surrendered hearts.

What a beautiful snapshot of our church. So much life, so many new friendships, and so many ways God has shown up.

We’re grateful for the church that God is building, and the family we’re becoming. Community Groups are getting ready to launch and we can’t wait to see how God will transform lives.

With our official campus and a place to call home, we’re ready to grow roots as we seek his will for Pasadena and SGV.
