✨ HONORING A LIVING LEGACY ✨

This past weekend, New Hope Church of God in Christ, along with the Southern California Evangelistic Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, converged upon the beautiful city of Arcadia, California, for an unforgettable black-tie celebration honoring the life, legacy, and faithful service of Administrative Assistant George B. Salter Sr.

80 Years of Life.
57 Years of Ministry.
34 Years of Pastoral Leadership.

What a remarkable testimony of faithfulness, longevity, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to God and His people!

We were especially blessed to welcome First Assistant Presiding Bishop Jerry Wayne Macklin as our distinguished guest speaker, who helped us pay tribute to a man whose life and ministry have impacted generations.

From near and far, family, friends, clergy, saints, and well-wishers gathered for one purpose: to give honor where honor is due.

Some people make an impression. Others leave a legacy.

Administrative Assistant Salter, your life has been worth living, your labor has been worth celebrating, and your legacy is still being written. 🖤✨

OFFICIAL DAY | 2026 HOLY CONVOCATION & AIM CONVENTION

From the opening prayer to the final benediction, God met us in a powerful way as we gathered for the culmination of our Holy Convocation & AIM Convention.

We honored the Lord, celebrated the leadership of our Bishop, Bishop C.E. Milton, and experienced the fellowship, worship, Word, and presence of God that make Official Day so special.

The convention may have concluded, but what God deposited in us continues.

🎥 Relive the moments. Revisit the worship. Remember what God did.

We came together. We were strengthened. We were renewed. And we are leaving ready to keep ANSWERING THE CALL!

What a time we’ve had during our 2026 Holy Convocation & AIM Convention! The Lord has met us in a mighty way, and we’re not finished yet!

Tonight, all roads lead to Holy Assembly Church of God in Christ in Pasadena as we gather for our Youth & Young Adult Night! 🙌🏾🔥

This evening will also be a special time of celebration as we honor President Aljenon Cooper for 10 years of faithful leadership and service as our Jurisdictional Youth President. For a decade, he has poured into our youth and young adults, developed leaders, strengthened ministry, and served this jurisdiction with faithfulness.

Come help us celebrate what God has done—and what He is still doing!
