Angela Lee is a passionate leader, pastor, and advocate rooted in community and service. Originally from
the East Coast, she now calls Pasadena, California home, where she lives with her husband Paul, her
stepdaughter Lizzie (16), and daughters Justise (7) and Ayla (6).
She studied Social Work at the University of Delaware, Angela has spent her career championing youth
and families—serving with Communities in Schools, the Boys & Girls Club, the YMCA of Metropolitan
Dallas, and Harambee Ministries. For the past 17 years, she has been deeply engaged in community
development and now serves as Executive Pastor to Ministries at Christ Church Sierra Madre, a vibrant
and diverse congregation in Los Angeles County. She is also currently pursuing a Masters of Theological
Studies at Fuller Seminary.
Angela, the eldest of four, is proudly Afro-Latina—born to an African American father and Puerto Rican
mother. Her passion for justice and reconciliation grew as she began raising her daughters—who are
Black, Puerto Rican, and Korean—and navigating the complexities of race, identity, and faith in today’s
world.
Fueled by coffee and protein shakes, Angela is a devoted wife, mother, preacher, and friend. Her greatest
loves are Jesus, her FamiLee, people, mental health, justice, and a really good meal.
