The power of the Holy Spirit still exist today. Jesus promised he wouldn’t leave us alone, and he didn’t. He left the Holy Spirit to counsel us, be our friend, give us boldness, and comfort us. Thank you Jesus! Acts 4:31
And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

Don’t give up! Sometimes it can feel like the Christian life is all about just not giving up. Thankfully, our faith does not depend on her feelings. If we are at our wits end – it’s the best place to be! Tell the Lord he is your Hope, that you are expecting him to show up! He will!

People love free things. Yet, why is it so difficult for them to see that salvation is FREE from God through Jesus? Just ask him to show you. He showed me. I didn’t have to clean up my bad habits first. I didn’t have to pay a toll or work for it. It’s a gift! I had a choice though- receive the gift or push it away. I gladly took the gift trading death for life. I haven’t been the same since. It’s a journey and adventure with Jesus that has challenges, but to know that I’m not alone and he’s with me to help makes all the difference.
