We are thrilled to introduce our new Worship Director, Julia Wood!

Julia is a singer, songwriter, cellist, guitarist, and pianist who lives in La Canada. For the past five years, she has been the Music Director at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy. She has also been serving in music ministry at nearby La Canada Presbyterian Church, where she has not only been the Children’s Choir Director, but led in worship for that congregation’s contemporary worship services. She has a 17 year old son named Noah, and an 11 year old daughter named Rhodes.

Join us Wednesday April 22nd as we celebrate God’s Creation through Earth Day! We’ll enjoy dinner together and a screening of the film “Behold the Earth.” Rich in musical and visual beauty, the film brings together prominent scientists and faith leaders to explore what it means to behold God’s creation—observing it as we might have as children, but with adult recognition of our responsibility to tell the truth about it and care for it in obedience to God.

All are invited to Holy Week at Knox!

Palm Sunday (3/29 ) - join us in the procession of palms as the kids reenact Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem

Maundy Thursday (4/2 ) - a candlelight “Tenebrae” service recounting the Last Supper. Special programming available for kids.

Good Friday (4/3 ) - a contemplative, interactive worship environment, reflecting on Jesus’ final day.

Easter Sunday (4/5 ) - join us for worship Sunday morning as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Service will be followed by a pancake brunch and an egg hunt for the kids.
