An update from Pastor Karl Baker:

I wanted to inform you of a significant change in the future of Missiongathering Pasadena. Sadly, this journey is coming to an end as our church congregation is in the process of closing. Myself and the leadership team at Missiongathering have entered into the discernment process with the Missiongathering Movement and the Pacific Southwest Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) denomination. Various factors have made this congregation no longer sustainable.

This Sunday for our gathering, we will spend time processing these realities and sharing what this church has meant to each of us. This is sad and challenging so we want everyone to have space to remember and grieve.

We will have two more additional services, March 20th and April 3rd. I hope that you can join us for one of these remaining three gatherings.

While this congregation is ending, it does not take away from any of the wonderful gatherings, experiences, and stories that have made up Missiongathering Pasadena. I am so grateful to have been a part of leading this community.
