Day 8 was our final ascent to Santiago. We met for our final morning circle as a new sun rose. We prayed, sang, and listened before making our way to Santiago de Compostela. What a joy to walk into the church square together. So much emotion as we hugged and embraced one another, celebrating every single person and each step that accompanied us along the way!

Congratulations to all our Camino pilgrims! Buen Camino!!

👉🏽 While our pilgrims are currently walking day 7, we look back to days 5 and 6. So far, we have already walked 115 kilometers. Many of us have been met with challenges and joys on the road. We have held both of these as faithful teachers, allowing God to hold sacred solidarity with each of us, letting meaning and epiphanies unfold from that place. There has been so much shared beauty in this community of pilgrims. We have two more days until we reach Santiago!! Please join us in the pilgrimage with your prayers.

👉🏽 Day 3 and 4. After some intense incline and decline, we welcomed the Camino again and made our way through urban alleys and forest trees, alongside Camino pilgrims from all over the globe. Some of us found joy and laughter in singing piggy banks that led to spontaneous dancing. Others of us found help from strangers willing to accompany us for part of the journey. These last two days, we were encouraged to take our time and allow interruptions to guide us. Many of us found beauty and wonder in that invitation.

So far, we have made it to Pontevedra, Spain. Tomorrow, we begin the second half of our pilgrimage. We welcome your prayers to journey with us. 🙏🏽

Day 1 and 2 of our Camino. We started our pilgrimage with meditating and singing together in front of this 801-year-old church in Tui, Spain. As we made our way, we found various textures and terrain, hills and valleys, critters and creatures, all welcoming our journey. All walking the way road but finding our own way, letting the road unfold before us.

From arrival to orientation, our pilgrims have been immersing themselves in intentional community to begin this ancient Camino de Santiago. We are officially at the halfway point with the road to Santiago to come. We have had four days of intense walking so far. Each of us sharing the same road but each experiencing it in unique ways.
