Who Are You Letting Guide You? 🤍

Be careful where you look for guidance, answers, and direction.

Not everything that seems harmless is something we should entertain, and not everything spiritual comes from God. Horoscopes, zodiac signs, tarot readings, psychics, and other spiritual practices are often presented as harmless or “just for fun,” but they’re not something we should take lightly.

The world will offer so many places to look for answers, identity, direction, and even our future…..but as believers, we know where to turn.

“Should not a people seek their God?” — Isaiah 8:19

You don’t have to know what your future holds when you know the One who holds your future.

Don’t look to the stars. Look to the One who made them. ✨

Forgiveness Empowers Us 🤍

Pastor Mindy keeps bringing on the fire! 🔥
forgiveness isn’t weakness….it’s freedom. When we choose to forgive, we release the hurt, anger, and bitterness that have been holding us captive.

In Matthew 18:21–35, Jesus teaches that because we have received such great mercy from God, we should extend that same mercy to others. Forgiveness may not erase what happened, but it keeps the pain from controlling our hearts.

Forgiven people forgive people. Let’s walk in the freedom and healing that forgiveness brings.

BE READY! 🕯️

On Wednesday, Pastor Mindy dove into the parable of the ten virgins that it isn’t enough to simply look prepared
……we must truly be ready.

The oil represents something personal. We cannot borrow someone else’s relationship with God, their prayer life, or their faith. We must know Jesus for ourselves and live each day alert, obedient, and set apart for Him.

No one knows the day or the hour when Jesus will return. The question isn’t when will He come?

The question is: Will you be ready when He does?

🧱 KEEP BUILDING

We took a look at the story of Nehemiah and learned what it means to keep building, even when things feel broken, people doubt you, or distractions try to pull you away.

Nehemiah didn’t rebuild the wall alone, and he didn’t do it without opposition. He prayed, he planned, he worked, and when people tried to distract him, his response was:

“I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down.” Nehemiah 6:3

That same reminder is for us.

When it gets hard…keep building.
When people don’t understand…keep building.
When you feel like you’re starting with broken pieces…keep building.
When distractions come…don’t come down.

God can build something incredible with the pieces you give Him. 🧱❤️

We check our notifications, our outfits, and who viewed our stories… but when was the last time we checked our hearts? 👀❤️

Pastor Mindy challenged us to examine our hearts through 1 Samuel 16:7 is reminder that people look at outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.

What’s behind our words, our choices, and the way we treat others? Are we focused on looking good to people or allowing God to change us from within?

This week, make this your prayer: “God, show me what’s in my heart and help me surrender what needs to change.”
