Today we reflect on Good Friday. Jesus willingly went to the cross to pay the price for our sins. His last words were, "It is finished". He finished what he came to earth to do. While we reflect on his death, we are also looking forward to celebrating his resurrection. Please join us Sunday @ 10:15am as we gather together to worship his victory over sin and death!

God is the author of creation, time, and purpose!

It is common for us to get busy throughout our day. Our morning routines, careers/jobs, kids, and the stresses of everyday life usually dominate our thoughts and actions. At the end of the day we may not even reflect on how our day went. The Apostle Paul writes in Colossians 3:17 to do everything in Jesus Christ. This means that our thoughts and deeds should reflect who Jesus is. Many times this takes a conscious effort on our part. Our natural inclinations are contrary to Christ and our busy day often can take our focus off of Him.

This is why a heart of thanksgiving is crucial to our walk with Christ. When we are thankful to the Father for sending us Jesus and for Jesus death on the cross for our sins, our heart of thankfulness compells us to be more like Christ.

Encouragement: Reflect today on your heart of thankfulness and examine wether or not your thoughts and deeds are a reflection of Jesus Christ. When Christians exemplify who Jesus Christ is, others will see and will be drawn to the Father through Jesus Christ.
