(1)

PJTC is a vibrant synagogue that embraces tradition, invites innovation and inspires participation. We are a diverse congregation of all ages, identities and family constellations. Our sacred space welcomes all who seek to worship, study, and grow their religious, cultural and social ties to Judaism. OUR COMMUNITY & CENTER: With a diverse membership, we have a variety of ways to get involved for all ages. Newcomers are always welcome to join in our events [www.pjtc.net/calendar] and our special interest groups & activities – and even start their own! OUR CLERGY & LEADERSHIP: Our clergy and leadership work together to share and promote Jewish tradition and values in our lives, homes, community and the world and offer an array of spiritual opportunities. For more information about us, what we stand for and our goals as a Jewish temple and center, please visit www.pjtc.net/about-us. JEWISH EDUCATION: We offer both youth and adult educational programs through both regular classes and pop-up learning events, B’nai Mitzvah preparation, one-on-one tutoring, and our vibrant religious school. The PJTC also shares its campus with B’nai Simcha Preschool [www.bnaisimcha.org]. It is our hope that you will want to join us as we continue to build our warm and welcoming community. We encourage you to contact us and explore the possibilities with PJTC.

Leaving our weekly "bissl" (a little) light of Torah in this space that can often feel dark and isolating. Join us for services this weekend!

Who says required training can’t be enjoyable?

Our PJTC staff recently refreshed our First Aid and CPR skills. Beyond the laughs and teamwork, we take staying fully prepared to keep our synagogue community safe seriously.

We could all use a little more light in our lives. 💡🔦Listen to this excerpt from Rabbi Ratner's Friday night sermon on Parashat Noach.

Want the full experience? Click this link https://youtu.be/_TssF339tVs?t=1766 to watch the whole sermon, or, even better, visit us next Shabbat in person or via Zoom 🙂.

Jewish community appreciation post! ❤️✡

A huge thank you to Congregation Anshai Torah in Plano, Texas, for sending us boxes and boxes of Hebrew school textbooks — many of them brand new!

We are so grateful for this special gift and can't wait to get these books into the hands of our teachers and students very soon!

Red flag warnings, evacuation orders, Santa Ana winds, and news of wildfires already burning in Southern California can bring back difficult memories and emotions.

We want you to know that we see you, we're thinking of you, and you're not alone. Please reach out anytime if you feel that being in community or simply having
someone to listen would help.

We're here for you.

National Coming Out Day is a welcome reminder of the power of living authentic lives, whatever that means for each of us.

Whether you've been out for as long as you can remember, are still figuring out if, when, or how to come out, or have decided not to come out, we see you. There is space for you in the PJTC family, exactly as you are. 🌈❤️

Have a great week!

We wanted to let you know about one more opportunity to connect and learn and dive deeper into the wonderful world of Jewish spirituality this weekend.

After Saturday morning services, Rabbi Ratner will take us on a journey into the Mystical Realm of Kabbalat Shabbat through the lens of Lecha Dodi.

We can't wait to see you there!
