In observance of Transgender Day of Remembrance, trans members of All Saints, together with trans faith partners and allies, will be hosting a service at 5:00pm to remember and grieve the lives lost to anti-trans violence and to celebrate that the trans community has survived—and will survive—every attempt to erase or eradicate us.

During this service, we will reflect on the challenges faced by trans people and the importance of fighting for a more just and loving society. It is a time for us to come together as a community to remember, to mourn, and to advocate for equality.

Following the service, the trans community at All Saints invites our trans siblings to join us for a special reception. This reception will provide an opportunity for fellowship, support, and sharing of experiences within the trans community. Dinner will be served, offering a chance to connect and build relationships with others who understand the joys and struggles unique to trans people. Our allies at All Saints invite any allies who are interested to join them for a group discussion.

We believe that by coming together, we can foster a community of love, acceptance, and understanding. We hope you will join us for this meaningful and important day as we honor and remember the lives of our trans siblings who are no longer with us.

Please mark your calendars for Sunday, November 19th, at 5:00 pm and plan to join us at All Saints Church.

The LGBTQ+ Ministry at All Saints is hosting a q***r Halloween party this Friday, and you're invited!

All Saints Church (in Sweetland Hall), 132 N Euclid Avenue, Pasadena

Friday, October 28th, 6:30-9pm

Dress as your favorite saint, q***r-coded villain, misunderstood monster, etc. Sit and talk with friends as you feast upon the flesh of the living or a more vegetarian-friendly spooky baked good, or dance along with our curated track of monster-themed q***r pop hits!

It'll be a night to dismember!

The Racial Justice Ministry invites you to attend the second episode of their series, "That's My Story", featuring our very own Thomas Diaz! Thomas Diaz will tell his story and invite us to ask questions and to offer reflections on the meaning it may hold for our own lives.

The intent of this series is to uncover and understand biases, perspectives, and core narratives that are pervasive in life and that must be addressed in order to cultivate and be a catalyst for change in celebration of our beautifully diverse world. It’s an invitation to dig deep into our own motives for thinking, believing and behaving the way we do, with discerning, non-judgmental hearts, so that we, then, can show that same act of discernment toward others.

The LGBTQ+ Ministry at All Saints is offering a selection of social events over the summer. Here are some dates for your diary!

Thursday night small group socials - 4 August & 1 September
* The Thursday night study small group is on a monthly summer schedule of social events as a break from study — everyone is welcome to join for social and board games! Join in at 7pm in the Junior High Room on 4 August and 1 September.

Beach Day - Sunday, 7 August, 2–6pm
* Join the ASC LGBTQ+ Ministry for a social at Palisades Beach in Santa Monica after church on 7 August, from 2pm onwards. We'll provide some small bags of chips and water bottles — otherwise bring what you need for fun in the sun! (Recommended: towels, sunscreen, snacks, water, etc.)

Movie Night - Friday, 12 August, time TBD
* The LGBTQ+ Ministry is hosting another movie night in the Forum at All Saints Church on Friday, 12 August — film TBD, but expect an old classic!

Visit to the Boulevard Bar - Friday, 26 August, 8pm
* Join us in patronizing our local gay bar establishment (and karaoke, for the bold!) with a visit to Boulevard Bar on 26 August at 3199 E Foothill Blvd. Stay later for the Friday night drag show at 11pm!

It was great to see so many of you this past Pride Sunday, both those we managed to capture in our early-morning group photo, and those we saw throughout the rest of the day.

Special congratulations to August Quinn, who was baptized at the 9am service!
