Yeshua died on the Day of Preparation (Passover) Nisan the 14th which that year was a Wednesday! He was placed in the tomb just before sunset and exactly three nights and three days later He arose on the Sabbath (Saturday) just before sunset!

The Lord of the Sabbath was raised on the Sabbath imagine that - God knew exactly what He was doing! “Remember the Sabbath to keep it holy” and what could make that day holier than Yeshua (Jesus) rising from the dead on that day!!

Good Friday and sunrise services, and Easter and eggs and bunnies, are nothing more than pagan sun god worship and have absolutely nothing to do with Jesus (Yeshua)!

The Truth Will Set You Free!!

God Himself told us in the book of Leviticus:

“Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, which you are to proclaim as official days for holy assembly. The Lord said to Moses, “You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of complete rest, an official day for holy assembly. It is the Lord’s Sabbath day, and it must be observed wherever you live.” Leviticus 23:1-3

God told Moses that the people of Israel were to “proclaim” to all people (not claim only for themselves) the Sabbath as an appointed day of the LORD. In fact God said it is the LORD’s Sabbath (not the Jewish Sabbath) and that it must be observed! This Sabbath is the seventh day of the week (Friday at sunset until Saturday at sunset) and it must observed wherever you live.

Many have incorrectly taught that the Sabbath was only for Israel but God Himself says it is the LORD’s Sabbath Day (it is for all people) and it must be observed. Many have also incorrectly taught that the Sabbath is just a day of rest but God Himself says it is a day of rest AND holy (sacred) assembly where people are to come together and worship and learn about God.

When Jesus was here He said:

“The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.” Mark 2:27-28

Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man (not only for the Jews but for all people) and that He Himself is the Lord of the Sabbath.

God gave man the Sabbath (as the day to worship and learn more about Him) and Jesus said that He is the Lord of the Sabbath so why wouldn’t you as children of God want to observe God’s true Sabbath and worship Him on the day that He proclaimed?

It’s time to come out from the lies and come to the truth because: The Truth Will Set You Free!!

THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE

Many Christians believe the Sabbath was changed to Sunday because Jesus rose on Sunday. He did not!! Yeshua the Lord of the Sabbath rose on Saturday the Sabbath! The truth is, most people were never taught what really happened in history.

In 321 CE, Roman Emperor Constantine made a move that changed everything.
He issued a decree that had nothing to do with God’s will—and everything to do with politics and man-made tradition.

It wasn’t about honoring the God of Israel. It was about uniting his empire under a common day of rest connected to sun worship.

“On the venerable day of the Sun, let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed…”
— Codex Justinianus 3.12.2

This wasn’t about honoring the biblical Sabbath. It was about uniting the empire under one day of rest tied to sun worship. Constantine still honored Sol Invictus, the sun god.

Then in 364 CE, the Council of Laodicea took
things even further. The following is an excerpt from Canon 29:

“Christians must not Judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honoring the Lord's Day [Sunday]... But if any shall be found to be Judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ.”

“Anathema” means cursed, cut off, or banned. In plain terms: if you kept the Sabbath, you were excommunicated.

They didn’t just promote Sunday, they outlawed the Sabbath. They punished anyone who kept the fourth commandment.

But before these man-made rulings, Yeshua and His followers (both Jew and Gentile) kept the 7th-day Sabbath, just as Scripture commands (Exodus 20:8–11, Luke 4:16, Acts 17:2).

Remember: God blessed only the seventh day (Genesis 2:3) and called it a sign forever (Exodus 31:16–17). Yeshua called Himself Master of the Sabbath (Mark 2:28), not Sunday.

So here’s the real question:

Why do most Christians follow a change made by emperors and councils, not by Yehovah?

Scripture never gave permission to switch the Sabbath. Man did.

The seventh day was never un-blessed.
Shabbat was never replaced.

Truth matters. History matters. Scripture stands.

Come out of tradition. Return to the Word.

Jesus did not come to abolish (get rid of) the Law but He came to fulfill it! The Law is NOT done away with no matter what some churches try to tell you!

The Law is still in effect and the Law convicts us of sin! That is as true today as it ever was BUT we are no longer sentenced under the penalty of the Law (separation from God) because Yeshua (Jesus) paid our penalty (death) through His blood! So we are saved from the penalty of the Law through (grace) Yeshua’s sacrifice! He died in our place!

Just look at His words in Matthew chapter 5:

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Matt. 5:17-18

Everything has not been fulfilled yet so the Law of God is still in effect! And for those not covered by Yeshua’s blood sacrifice the penalty of the Law is still in effect too! I pray that you will accept Jesus’ sacrifice for you and be saved from that penalty through grace!

Do You Believe Even Though You Have Not Seen?

“One of the twelve disciples, Thomas (nicknamed the Twin), was not with the others when Jesus came. They told him, “We have seen the Lord!”But he replied, “I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in His hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in His side.” Eight days later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was with them. The doors were locked; but suddenly, as before, Jesus was standing among them. “Peace be with you,” He said. Then He said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at My hands. Put your hand into the wound in My side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!” Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen Me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing Me.” “My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.” John 20:24-29

When Jesus rose from the dead the other apostles told Thomas that Jesus had risen but Thomas said he would not believe unless he saw for himself that Jesus had risen and had proof it really was Jesus by examining His wounds! Jesus then appeared again 8 days later and Thomas did see Him and he believed!

Jesus said to him because you have seen Me you believe but blessed are they who believe in Me without seeing Me because those who believe without seeing must have true faith! And faith is what pleases God!

“It is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

Do you have faith? Can you believe without seeing?

Jesus is alive I believe that with my whole being!
