This month at our Youth Workers Gathering, we had the special privilege of learning from Connor Grubbs (Church of the Ascension) about Story-Shaped Worship! We walked through the scripture and history of the church calendar, the lectionary, and the four-fold order of worship, all in an effort to understand how we can engage youth and youth programs in our valuable traditions. Thank you, Connor, for this enriching time together, and for all youth workers who were able to join us!

Hey DYC!! 👋 Over the past few evenings, our Diocesan Youth Council members showed up at their Regional Convocations in preparation for the 58th Diocesan Convention. The DYC will act as the FIRST OFFICIAL Youth Delegation at this year's Convention - with seat and voice on the floor at the business session October 10th. At Convention, a resolution will come before the Diocese to officially give youth seat, voice, AND vote, beginning in 2027! Thanks DYC for your commitment!!

This weekend our Diocesan Youth Council had their kick-off overnight in St. Pete to start the new program year! The group worked on their Peer Ministry skills, reviewed the annual budget for Diocesan youth ministry, explored national gathering opportunities for Summer 2027, and so much more. We’re grateful for the Cathedral of St Peter for hosting us overnight and welcoming us into their community this morning!
