One of our greatest desires is to help children build a strong foundation in God's Word. At North River Kids Explore, kids don't just hear Bible stories. They learn how to understand Scripture, apply it to their everyday lives, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Beginning this Sunday, August 16th, children ages 3 through 5th grade are invited to join us on Sunday evenings from 5:15pm–6:45pm for another year of North River Kids Explore!

We live in a culture that has a warped understanding of truth and love. Truth is personal instead of objective. Love is selfish instead of sacrificial. Ideas like these run contrary to Scripture and make it challenging for believers. Maybe you have felt this tension and wondered how to navigate these challenges faithfully.

Over the next four weeks, we will walk through the letter of 2 John and see how believers are to live lives marked by truth and love. John's aim is to encourage believers to walk in the truth, to love one another, and to remain watchful for those who would seek to lead them astray.

If we hope to make maximum kingdom impact, we must be a church that is unwilling to compromise the truth and unrelenting in our love for one another. Join us this Sunday as we begin our four week sermon series, Truth & Love.

It was a privilege to serve breakfast, offer encouragement, and pray over the teachers and staff at some of our local schools this week. We’re grateful for those who show up each day to teach the next generation, and we’re praying for a great year ahead!

Yesterday we continued our survey through the New Testament as we studied the life and ministry of the Apostle Paul.

We walked through Paul's conversion, his missionary journeys, and the thirteen letters he wrote to churches and individuals throughout the New Testament. We also spent time looking at the years of preparation and quiet faithfulness that came before his ministry.

As we looked at Paul's life, Philippians 1:21 stood out as a summary of his ministry: "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Paul's life was marked by the desire to know Christ, proclaim the Gospel, and faithfully serve wherever God called him.
