With trek coming up this summer we wanted to share some thoughts and memories from trek 2022.
Kacey Stowell shares her experience…

It’s an experience you cannot ever feel again unless you are there.
The spirit that you have and feel as you walk on the same ground as our pioneers is what brings you closer to your Savior.
As you sacrifice your time to be there
it will be nothing but joy. You will find that you can draw closer to your life time friends,
And gain new friends at the same time.
It is a time to bond together as high school buddies
and go through
some trek challenges,
fun times, games, and adventures together!
I remember one boy said in testimony meeting that
“He never knew all his acquaintances and friends could come together and bond so well,
He loved it!”
Another person said
“it’s really not that hard, the walking isn’t that bad at all,, and everyone goes, so if you stay home
you will just be alone. and even if you are not in the same family with your best friend, you can still spend a lot of time together..”
I remember hearing kids say they were so happy they went in trek “
And the day we “had”to leave. All I wanted to do was
go home,
get my whole family,
and come right back…
just to feel that amazing spirit that is there
and never then leave.”
