If you are 50 years and older, you are welcome to join us for various competitions on Senior Talent Day, Saturday, October 10th in Grove City, Ohio! It's an all-day trip including state-wide competitions in music (individual/groups; vocal/instrumental), writing, art, and drama. Parma Park has brought home many awards in most all of these areas. We won first place last year in the small choir division and look to defend the title!
We will have six short weeks of rehearsals before the competition! Practice will be held Wednesdays at 6:00-6:50pm before classes through September and into October!
If you are not a singer, look and see what area you can enter and come go with us! Cost is $10 for your lunch! There will be a concert that afternoon with awards given afterwards.
It's always a fun time and we'll stop for supper at Der Dutchman Restaurant on the way home (Bellville) - your expense!
We will provide you all the information once received from the state office for all the areas of competition to be held that day!

PARENTS,
Not only will we be having a mega water balloon fight following service on Sunday, August 30th, some children will also be receiving their parts for the Christmas play. They are VERY excited to see what parts they have been given, so please try to attend. Reminder: Even if your child does not have a speaking part, ALL children will be part of the choir for the Christmas play. We will be practicing the songs on both Sundays and Wednesdays.
