This fall, JRC introduces a new Manresa Experience created for people navigating midlife and life’s “Second Chapter.”

The first one-day retreat, led by Joseph and Lauren Cummins, invites you to look back on your life through the eyes of grace, noticing the people, experiences, gifts, and even challenges that have shaped who you are today.

Come spend a day reflecting on where you’ve been and begin looking toward what comes next with greater gratitude, faith, and purpose.

Join us tomorrow for Eucharistic Adoration in the Manresa Chapel from 9:00am–3:00pm. Come when your schedule allows, stay as long as you’d like, and join us for the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00 pm.

We are also still seeking volunteers to spend a full hour with the exposed Eucharist. All are welcome throughout the day, whether or not you register for a volunteer hour.

As a young man, St. Francis of Assisi dreamed of status and adventure. But war, illness and unexpected encounters began to change him. Over time, Francis came to understand that God was calling him in a different direction, toward Jesus, compassion, simplicity and the Gospel.

St. Francis of Assisi lived with a deep reverence for the natural world, seeing creation as a reflection of God’s goodness. His example invites us to pay closer attention to the beauty around us and to the presence of God within it.
