Fr. Michael Marco, SJ joined us last week as JRC’s new Executive Director and is busy settling into his new role!

Returning to Northeast Ohio feels like a homecoming for Fr. Marco, who brings decades of Jesuit leadership and a deep love for retreat ministry. He’s especially looking forward to getting to know the people who make JRC such a special place.

Next week, Jane Knappenberger, PhD, begins Forever the Beloved: Identity, Healing, and Hope at JRC. Over two evenings, Jane will guide participants through Scripture, personal reflection and her own experience of discovering the difference between knowing about God’s love and allowing that love to transform the heart.

The presenter for our upcoming "Beloved" retreats, Jane Knappenberge, had a PhD by the time she was 25... but, when it came to heart knowledge, she took the long way around the barn. She only found healing and wholeness when she came to know and claim the love of God.

His writings invite us to see spiritual growth not as something separate from everyday life, but as something unfolding through our experiences, decisions, relationships, and even the circumstances beyond our control.

On November 9, the Jesuit Retreat Center welcomes Michael Reiling, M.Ed., for "The Spiritual Life with Teilhard de Chardin, SJ."
