Message from Fr. Andrew to the parish and school communities of St. Anthony of Padua:

Like many people after yesterday's storms, St. Anthony of Padua Parish and School considers itself lucky, thank God. While the volume of tree damage is considerable and will likely alter many views on campus, all our people who were on campus at the time are safe, and our buildings incurred only minimal to moderate damage(the roof on the storage garage). Many within our parish, school and CYO community have reached out to see how they can assist. I am personally overwhelmed with gratitude for your offer and had been excited to wield my own chainsaw. However, as a large portion of the work will need to be done professionally, any volunteer work would happen after the tree service comes through, and it seems as if the tree service may do the bulk of the work, so we will update again when we have clarity to the scope of their services. Thank you again for your generous, ready, and willing hearts. What a beautiful community to be a part of!
