The Holy Eucharist: God’s Unfathomable Gift to Us!
Last week, as we celebrated the Holy Trinity, we reflected on the beautiful mystery of our God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and how God desires for us to have abundant life and complete joy. The Father sent His Son into the world to redeem us, not only so that we may have eternal life, but so that we may experience the fullness of His love, peace, hope, and every good gift that comes from living in relationship with Him.
"Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him."
This week, on Corpus Christi, we see how God continues to provide for us. In Deuteronomy, Moses reminds the people that God fed them with manna in the desert and cared for them throughout their journey. In the Gospel, Jesus reveals Himself as the true Bread from Heaven, offering His Body and Blood so that we may have life in Him.
The prosperity God desires for us is not measured merely by wealth or possessions, but by the richness of a life rooted in Christ—a life filled with faith, purpose, peace, loving relationships, generosity, and the confidence that God will provide what we need. When we remain close to Jesus in the Eucharist, we discover that the greatest blessings are not things, but the presence of God Himself.
St. Paul reminds us that through the one Bread we become one Body in Christ. Nourished by the Eucharist, we are strengthened to share God's goodness with others and become signs of His love in the world.
The mystery of the Trinity reveals who God is—a communion of perfect love. The mystery of the Eucharist reveals how deeply He desires to share that love with us. Each time we come to the altar, Christ nourishes us with His very life so that we may live abundantly, rejoice fully, and grow in every good thing that leads us closer to God and one another.
May we approach the Eucharist with grateful hearts, trusting that the Lord who feeds us with the Bread of Life is leading us to the fullness of joy, peace, and blessing He desires for His children.
God Bless You All!
