Today is the day. The day that Jesus was beaten, tortured, spit on, his flesh ripped from His body, His organs exposed, His crown of thorns affixed on His head, ridiculed and mocked in the streets, nailed to the cross, to suffer willingly but not just-fully for the eternal life of sinners like me, like you. He suffered for hours as he slowly died in pain so that we can be saved and rest in iur Fathers kingdom forever. In three days He rose to His rightful place aside our Father in Heaven as one last miracle, one last showing of who He truly was and why we should follow Him. For all this all He asks is that we have a relationship with him and God and be obedient to his commandments. We will never be able to follow them 100% but God is worried about our relationship with Him and for us to want and try to better, to not live in sin and be ok with doing things that are against His will. All we need to do is repent for our sin and Love God and the rest will come, is that so much to ask? To say “Father I’m sorry for breaking your laws and I love you, I want you in my life always” is it so hard to stop wanting to do these bad things and do good and love the Father in heaven that created us? We would apologize to our parents and love them, the ones that made us, why not the creator of all people, of all things? What do we have to lose except bad habits? I invite anyone that doesn’t know Jesus as Lord and savior to please message me or simply pray this prayer
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.”
And if you’re not sure you believe yet I encourage you to do some reading ( book of Matthew, mark , Luke, or John are great starting points),message me, or watch some videos teaching from the Bible. Try following Jesus and what he did in scripture, you don’t have to be fully convinced to be interested and read and follow Jesus and what he did till your mind is made up.
Jesus I will never forget the cost of my salvation. I’ll never forget the sacrifice you gave for me. I’ll never forget the humbleness of your love and the persecution you faced. Also I will accept the cost of picking up my cross and following you Lord, I may not want to do it, people may break me down for it, but your love and peace are worth it!
Thank you Yeshua for your sacrifice and I pray it doesn’t take another year to go by for people to recognize your sacrifice I pray every person keeps it on their mind their whole life through.
