Our church is well over one-hundred years old. Down through the years we have outgrown three new buildings. Many of our members are lifelong members and descendants to the early settlers. We are located just five mile from the famous Forkland Community Center. Back in the late 1800s and early 1900s our church served as the building for three denominations. it has been said that on Sunday mornings

were the Baptist family -Sunday night for the Methodist and Wednesday nights belonged to the Church of God. We sit in a beautiful Peaceful valley and there is no place on earth more serene than this area during an early morning sunrise. Come visit us on the "FORK."

A message from Brother Stacy Wilson

Good evening, church family! I pray everyone has had a wonderful and blessed weekend. I’m excited and grateful to be back in the pulpit with you all!

I have a fresh word from the Lord that I’m ready to share, and I’m looking forward to what God is going to do in our midst. Come with open hearts and expectant spirits, because I believe God has something special for us!

Pleasant Run Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking the man God has called to serve as our next pastor.

We are a Southern Baptist church committed to the authority of God’s Word, the proclamation of the Gospel, and the mission of making disciples. As we seek God’s direction through this season, we invite qualified, God-called pastors to prayerfully consider this opportunity.
