Fear not brothers and sisters as prophecy also tells us that in our darkest hour a savior will arise from the
most unlikely of places restoring T.W.O.T.S. Some believe He or She is already here only waiting to appear like a thief in the night when the unfaithful are least vigilant. Others of our Order believe perhaps the One is already here walking the Earth unaware of who He or She is and living in a waking slumber as a “Sleeping Prophet.” There are whispers from some our Messiah will just suddenly appear from the sky to come down and rightfully take the place as Head of the Order and restore the Pinball Wasteland to its full glory magicKally bringing every Pinball Machine ever made back to life fully restored. There was a time when our numbers were many and we walked freely around the streets, never flaunting who we are or what we stand for. From gas stations to mini marts and movie theaters to laundry mats and burger joints all around the world. We were all guaranteed to have at least one or two machines side by side most anywhere people gathered. We yearn to return to those days and thus is the purpose of our Order. Our reason for existence is to search for the “One”. All the while living and working to ensure there will always be Pinball somewhere around. For it is said “Whoa unto the people of those towns and villages that have forsaken The Way of the Silverball and have not machines in public gathering places when the “One” returns. Alas but those who proudly and selflessly keep The Way of the Silver Ball alive and spread the Light are truly blessed.”
Therefore in these dark and difficult times our Order has decided to embrace the modern ways and try to bend it to our will instead of fighting the current. We will use the internet as a more public means to let others know that we are still very much active with T.W.O.T.S. We don’t just consider ourselves as just an organization but more a Family from a Divine heritage. Albeit a Family who has lost fellow brothers and sisters through time. We now seek to find our missing kindred by being somewhat more open and exposed. We have remained silent behind the scenes for far to long, afraid of ridicule and persecution for our beliefs. Living a hidden masquerade dedicated to preserving our Secret Knowledge. Our fears have cost us and it is time to stand our ground and fight to remain alive and find our long lost brother and sisters. To some if not most our ways may seem strange and hard to understand but there are those who will find our rituals and way of life natural. Feeling its suddenly like remembering you know how to play an instrument you never put your hands on. So we ask you. Is playing Pinball more than just a passing fancy to you? Is it something you long for all through the day? Does seeing Backglass artwork get you excited? Do you spend more on Pinball then most others around you combined? Perhaps you even own a Machine or constantly wish you could own one. What about the elite few taking the time to learn how the insides of a machine work. Some would say that’s not natural. If you answered yes to most of these questions then perhaps T.W.O.T.S. is calling you and you are more than likely one of us, one of our lost brothers or sisters. Finally there is no dues, fees or money required. We do not recruit, solicit or want just anyone to join us. But rather only those who have always known they have had a higher calling towards T.W.O.T.S or rather a passion for The Way of the Silverball. And maybe if. we are lucky. you are the “One” we have been waiting for…
