📢 Gabriel Project of WV Guidelines 📢

To help us serve as many families as possible, we ask that all clients follow these simple guidelines:

✅ We help families with custody of the child. We are unable to assist parents with only visitation and/or seeking to regain custody of their child.
✅ Families with children ages 2 and younger are eligible for services.
✅ Pregnant women may begin receiving services from us when they are 4-5 weeks before their due date.
✅ Please visit only ONE Gabriel Project site. This helps ensure we have enough supplies to assist all families in need.
✅ We do NOT have income guidelines. We help families that meet the above criteria regardless of their income.

Our mission is to help babies have a healthy, safe start in life. Thank you for helping us make our resources available to as many children and caregivers as possible. ❤️

As we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country this Memorial Day, we also want to let our families know that our sites will be closed for the holiday. 🇺🇸

We hope everyone has a safe and meaningful Memorial Day spent with family and loved ones. We will reopen during our regularly scheduled hours on Thursday, May 28th.

Need formula, but don't qualify for WIC? We’re here to help. ❤️

We offer baby formula at no cost for families in need, and we are also willing to order specialty formulas as needed. We keep most the most common formulas in stock. If your baby requires a specific type of formula, please reach out to us and we will do our best to help.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Gabriel Project of WV! 💐

Today we celebrate the strength, love, sacrifice, and compassion of mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures everywhere. Your care shapes families, communities, and future generations.

Did you know Mother’s Day has deep roots in West Virginia? The very first official Mother’s Day celebration was held in Grafton, WV in 1908, thanks to Anna Jarvis, who wanted to honor her mother’s dedication and love. ❤️

Our Parkersburg site is ready to help with essential baby items for families with children ages 2 and younger.

Car seats, diapers, formula, clothing, and more. Most items are at no cost. Car seats and portable cribs are $15 each.

Visit us on Mondays or Thursdays. We are located at 609 Market Street inside St. Francis Xavier Parish Center.

All children should be secure in a car seat for their safety. We recognize the high costs of new and safe car seats. Gabriel Project of Parkersburg offers car seats for $15 to families in need with a child aged 2 or younger.

✍️ Please note: We ask our Ohio families to reach out the Ohio Department of Health regarding the Ohio Buckles Buckeyes program for a car seat. However, we are more than happy to offer our Ohio families diapers, clothing, formula, and more.

Our Parkersburg site is open every Monday and Thursday!

At the Gabriel Project of WV, we are here to support families with no income restrictions and no border guidelines—because everyone deserves access to help when they need it.

We offer the Cosco Scenera Next convertible car seat for $15 at all our sites. Our policies for car seats:

* The child is under 18 months of age;
* The child is under 35 lbs and 40 inches;
* Only one car seat per child;
* We cannot supply second car seats for a family

Our volunteers are happy to discuss car seat eligibility during our open times.
